I Care Ministries is located at 45 Spring Street in Millinocket, Maine. The Ministries occupies, among other things, the Old Armory Building.

I Care Ministries is an outreach ministry center meeting needs and healing hurts of people in the greater Katahdin area and other parts of the world. Some of the ministries are listed and described below. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the center and foundation of everything that we do.

Divorce Care: This ministry provides a small group support meeting that is designed to help people who have broken pieces of their lives put back together. This is one of the most effective and meaningful ministries of ICM. We use professionally produced videos, DVDs, workbooks and group discussions. The people featured in the materials are individuals who have been through divorce as well as professional councilors and teachers who have worked with divorce counseling for many years.

Grief Share: This program is another support group ministry that helps individuals overcome the trauma of the loss of a loved one through death. This too provides videos, workbooks and group discussions. Professional councilors and pastors are featured in this series. Many hurting hearts have been comforted and encouraged through Grief Share.

Clothing Bank: ICM clothing bank provides excellent quality new and used clothing to those in need locally as well as transferring items to mission organizations all over the world. We have shipped out more than a dozen truck loads of clothes. Low income families can come to ICM for clothes at no cost to them.

ICM Food Pantry: The food pantry at ICM has been in operation for seven years. We started out serving a few families each month and now have a data base of over 1,900. People come from all over the Katahdin area as far as 50 miles away to receive from the food pantry. Many individuals and organizations support this work generously. ICM food pantry is opened Thursday and Friday each week.

The Den: This ministry is a Teen Center for the children of the community. Kids ages 12-18 meet each Friday evening from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm for basketball, pool, loud music and social interaction. Each Friday they are challenged with a Bible based devotional as well.

Prayer Service: Wednesday evening ICM hosts a time of prayer and worship. This is a very informal time of music and prayer that connects us with God.

Sunday School: ICM has just recently started a Sunday School program that will teach God's Word, the Bible, to students of all ages. We have an Adult class that studies the Purpose Driven Life book. Also, we have several classes for children. These classes start at 9:00 am.

Sunday Morning Worship: Sunday Morning at 10:00 am we have a congregation that meets for prayer, praise and preaching. We started with 15 people ten years ago and have had several thousand visitors in our services. Many people have found a new or deeper relationship with Jesus Christ at our Sunday morning worship.

Sunday Evening Bible Study: ICM provides an evening Bible study with participation from the audience. We have studied many books of the Bible over the past several years.

The Katahdin Community Chapel: This is the newest and most challenging endeavor. We are making plans to create and develop a contemporary worship center that will draw families from all over the Katahdin Community to worship God. We have developed an outreach ministry center and now believe it is time for a community worship center.

Men's Ministry: ICM is in the process of developing a "Men's" Ministry to diciple men for leadership in ministry.

Mission Outreach:
There are two aspects of world missions that ICM is actively supporting...
   •Home Missions is an endeavor to financially support and encourage missionary to those
    who spread the gospel in the United states through college campus ministries, street
    missions, motorcycle ministries, evangelism crusades, etc. Much of our efforts and
    resources are focused on those needing the gospel around us as well.
   •Foreign Missions is close to the heart of ICM. We are helping missionaries and ministries
    all over the world. India, Ethiopia, Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal,
    Cambodia, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Ukraine, Romania, Belarus and many other
    nations. ICM provides gift boxes for Samaritan's Purse and clothing to Global Relief of
    Campus Crusade for Christ as well as Convoy of Hope. Some of the clothing has gone
    to Romania, Belarus, hurricane victims of the Caribbean Islands and Ukraine.

ICM Volunteers: ICM provides community service opportunity for parents receiving financial assistance. Others who are required to do community service for infractions with the law come to ICM to serve their time. ICM is also a place where civic minded volunteers can donate time to help others.

Others that use the ICM facilities are the Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, driver's education classes, Lease Holders Association, baby showers, family gatherings after funerals, birthday parties and more.
