What is your payment policy?
Maine Niche requires full payment at time of service. If Merchant pays other than by PayPal, Merchant Account charges will be due upon Merchants' receipt of an invoice.

Whom do I contact if I have a problem or question?

I currently have a website... why would I need Maine Niche?
First, ask yourself how effective is my present web site? On the Web, your store products need to be in a visible location where your target customers can find you. Maine Niche provides the means to display your products with the online visibility you need. Our ever-expanding product line, free services, Maine articles and our online marketing and promotional strategies will draw qualified online shoppers from all over the world. Yes. An additional benefit in being a Maine Niche Merchant is that we optimize your products for all of the major search engines. Either way, your products will be accessible directly from search engines such as Google, Yahoo, MSN and AOL. By displaying your products in a catalog setting, customers will enjoy having the variety of products available in one easy to access location. One click and they will be in direct contact with you... the Merchant!

How do I display my products within the Online Catalog?

How will customer orders be processed?
All customer orders will be processed directly through the Merchant. When viewing Merchant products, ordering options will be displayed within the product detail page.

Will I be responsible for reporting Sales Tax?
Yes. Since orders will be directed and placed through each Merchant, Sales Tax will be the responsibility of the Merchant.

How will I receive customer orders?
Within the product details page, order options will be displayed. The Merchant will receive orders according to the option chosen (direct product link to website, email or phone). Maine Niche simply displays the products, orders to be fullfilled by the Merchant.

How will shipping and handling charges be handled?
Shipping and handling charges will be determined by each Merchant at the time a customer  order is placed through Maine Niche and processed by the Merchant.

What if I sell the same or similar products as another online Merchant?
Because there will be several Merchants listing an assortment of products at Maine Niche, there will be some overlap in products and brands. We do not assign exclusive rights to offer particular products. There will be competition, just as in any shopping environment. However, Maine Niche will not allow the practice of price undercutting within its' Online Catalog.

Will Maine Niche set-up my products within the Online Catalog?
Yes. The look, feel and functionality of your Online Catalog display system or Merchant ShowCase pages are critical to the success of your online display. We will set-up your Online Catalog. Whatever Merchant package or service you choose, we look forward in assisting you with your individual needs. How long will it take to get my products online?
Most of our Online Catalog or Merchant ShowCase packages can be set-up in just a few days. It all depends on how many products will be added to your store database and if you have all of your information readily available. Allowing time for you to get your information together and setting up your Merchant package, we can have you up and running in about a week.

Will I be able to make changes to my product listings?
No. Changes and updates will be made by Maine Niche. Merchant will be allowed up to four changes per month (deletion, text or price change).
